Inspirational Christian Sermon Title: Do not always lie in the valley, look high unto Jesus.
As believers in Christ, we should keep trying to reach on the high
Valley symbolizes – laziness, lowness, loneliness, trial, depressions
We should not forget the vision of our life in the valley or get trapped there.
We should not be like people working in coal mines who never get chance to see the light. They mostly keep working in the dark.
As believers, our Lord is our light and quenches the thirst of our heart and soul.
The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? Psalms 27:1
Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. Psalms 34:5
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. Psalms 121:1&2
We need to keep striving to reach the hill top where we can receive the light from our Lord.
Let’s not linger in our loneliness, we need to face the obstacles, troubles, pave our own way to reach the mountain top.
When we take a step of wait, Lord is our help and he leads us
Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Psalms 23:4
Hill Top / Mountain Top – green rich lush landscape, fresh air, fresh dew symbolizing blessing, good tidings
To achieve this we need to keep moving forward, as years go by, as seasons pass by, we will keep moving and growing in Christ. We will face temptations, insults, pain boldly without being broken and focus on reaching towards our Lord.
Let’s be prepared like the mountaineers who are prepared with all necessary tools. Let’s be equipped with all the tools needed to reach our Savior, Let’s put on the full armor of God, keep our faith and through faith live our life.
