The two words that have been coined are not new, but to those who do not know what it means — śruti means what is heard and smṛti what is remembered
We see in the Bible that Jesus was born in form of a man and lived in this world for thirty three and a half years but his sruti and smrti have been in existence since ages. If we look into other religions we will see that there are many authors who write the books and they differ in each other’s saying and approach to the faith while they write down what was heard and what is remembered. However when we come to Christian faith, both the sruti and the smrti are clear. There is a clear revelation of Christ. The faith is clear, unified and centers on Christ.
The Holy Bible does not have a single author, it is written by many human authors over a time span of over 1500 years. The writers were prophets, scholars, doctors, leaders kings and of several background however when you read Bible as a whole it shares only one single message. There is similarity of the teachings everywhere. This is surely to be spirit lead or Gods inspiration.
Bible points out over the span of years the birth, the death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ as Gods son. His coming was envisioned, prophesized, described, fulfilled and witnessed. The scriptures share about his life ages before his death and ages after his death
We can hear about Jesus as an existence of God’s one form Since the Creation [ Gen 1:26], Through the Torah by leaders [Deuteronomy 18:15-19], Through prophecies of Prophets [Isaiah 53] , We remember him as flesh [ Books of Gospel], we hear him from his disciples [ Books of Gospel], through the church [ Letter of Paul to Churches] and over the years we still experience a personal relationship with him in Spirit. The sruti and smrti of Jesus Christ is like a REMA, its living through the ages and all through out it speaks in one voice. This is unique about Jesus that draws world towards him!
